DUBAI, U.A.E. – Lexi Thompson, 16, became the youngest professional golfer to win on the Ladies European Tour when she captured the Omega Dubai Ladies Masters by four shots at Emirates Golf Club.
Her first win as a professional came 10 months ago on the GOLFslinger.com/Minor League Golf Tour in the TPC February Shootout on February 21, 2011 at TPC Eagle Trace.
Thompson, went on to win this summer on the LPGA Tour, capturing the Navistar LPGA Classic by 5 shots.
