WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - 33 players are within 6 shots of the lead after the opening round of the 3rd 2012 Major at Bear Lakes, Lakes Course. The winner will take home $10,000 and the event has a total of $10,000 added into the purse from qualifying, the GOLFslinger Tour and buy in players.

Seven players, including Major 2 winner Sunny Kim, are tied for for the lead going in to the final round.
