Rod Armstrong shoots 78 to win by 3 at Ocean Breeze October 30, 2009 BOCA RATON, Fla. – Amateur Rod Armstrong of Greenwich, Conn, outlasted Charles Pal and Mustapha Assorhani to win the Basic Golf Training Division event at Ocean Breeze on Friday. Armstrong received a shirt from event sponsor Basic Golf. Jason Harkins Wins 2nd Consecutive Training Division Event October 19, 2009 LAKE WORTH, Fla. – Amateur Jason Harkins won the Basic Golf Training Division event for the second consecutive week on Monday at The Fountains Country Club. Playing the west course, Harkins outlasted Harry Miller by 2 shots, 81 to 83. Harkins also won the Basic Golf Training Division event last Wednesday at PGA National's Estate course. Ira Saltzman and James Hancock Battle at The Breeze September 25, 2009 BOCA RATON, Fla. – Ira Saltzman won the Basic Golf Training Division event on Friday at Ocean Breeze. James Hancock and Saltzman were back and forth most of the way before Hancock had a bad hole. Since MLGT employees are not allowed to win prize money, Hancock was awarded the $25 Gift Certificate to Basic Golf. Tour Director Jones Wins Basic Golf TD Event September 11, 2009 HIALEAH, Fla. – Tour Director Jimmy Jones won the Basic Golf Training Division event on Friday by four shots over Noah Jacobs. Jacobs and Jones were tied well into the back nine before Jacobs had a bad hole which provided veteran Jones a large cushion which he would not relinquish. Since MLGT employees are not allowed to win prize money, Jacobs was awarded the $25 Gift Certificate to Basic Golf. Training Division Results  Noah Jacob wins his second Basic Golf TD Event August 24, 2009 LAKE WORTH, Fla. – Noah Jacob of Palm Beach Gardens, won his second Basic Golf Training Division Event on Monday at The Fountains CC South Course. Between a slow start and wet finish, Noah was even par from hole #3 through hole #14 before thunderstorms caused a two hour stoppage of play. He earned a $25 gift certificate from Basic Golf. Alex Yost wins Ocean Breeze Basic Golf TD Event by 11 June 19, 2009 BOCA RATON, Fla. – Alex Yost, an amateur from Weston, Fla., shot 76 to win the Basic Golf Training Division event at Ocean Breeze in Boca Raton on Friday by 11 shots over Jason Waker (a) and Michael Jesinsky (a) who tied for second with 87. Anglin wins inaugural Basic Golf Training Division Event June 2, 2009 HIALEAH, Fla. – Josh Anglin, an amateur from Baton Rouge, La., shot 75 and won the first event in the new Basic Golf Training Division, developed for players looking to gain competitive experience under the same conditions of a professional event without the added expenditure of contributing to the payout. There were five contestants in this flight.
