Brian Anderson wins Playoff over Kyle Willman with a hole out on third extra hole
Anderson & Willmann fire 7-under par 65's, Matt Torrance third 2 shots back

PALM CITY, Fla. – Brian Anderson of Rochester, Ill., holed a shot from left of the green on the third playoff hole to win a Fuzion Minor League Golf Tour event Wednesday at Hammock Creek. Anderson and Kyle Willmann of Edmond, Okla., tied at seven under par 65, then halved the 10th and 11th holes with par-4s. After Anderson missed the green at the par-3 12th, he holed his wedge shot for a birdie. Willman then missed a 24-foot birdie putt. It was Anderson’s 11th MLGT victory, five of which came in April. Willmann has five MLGT wins. Anderson earned $775, Willmann $540, from the $4,000 purse. Neither player made a bogey in 21 holes. Matt Torrance from East Lyme, CT was third after shooting a 5-under par 67. Greg O'Mahony tied for fourth with Josh McCumber at 4-under par 68 and Chad Bouchard finished solo sixth with 69. There was $110 in the skins pot with 4 skins out worth $27.50 each. |
