Dusin Cone fires 3-under par 69 to win by 2 shots over 5 players

Cone kicks off Q-School Contest 2 with win at home course

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. – Dustin Cone of Bennington, Vt., fired a three under par 69 on Monday at the Santa Lucia River Club for his fourth win on the Minor League Golf Tour, his first in almost a year. Cone made six birdies, a bogey and a double bogey, earning $950 from the $5,919 purse. His last MLGT title was on March 10, 2010 at Abacoa Golf Club in Jupiter.

Cone, won the 3rd (of five) 2010 MLGT PGA Tour Q-School Contest, now leads the 2nd Q-School Contest of 2011 by $505 over five players who tied for second at 1-under par 71.

There was $290 in the skins pot with 3 skins out worth $93.34 each.
