Kevin Foley birdies 18 to win by shot in his first Fuzion MLGT event

Derrick Bohannan shoots 69 to finish 2nd, Jimmy Hazen solo third

STUART, Fla. – Kevin Foley of Somerville, N.J., made up two strokes on the last hole Wednesday at Champions Club and won his first start on the Fuzion-Minor League Golf Tour.

Foley birdied the par-5 18th hole for 68, earning $1,000 from the $7,393 purse. About an hour and a half earlier, Derrick Bohannon of nearby Jensen Beach bogeyed 18 for 69 and finished second among 62 starters. He received $700.

Earlier, Foley birdied Nos. 5, 8, 10 and 12. He bogeyed the ninth hole. Bohannon birdied 1, 5, 6, 10, 12 and 15 and bogeyed 2, 4 and 18.

Jimmy Hazen of Miller Place, NY finshed in solo third place at 2-under par 70.

There was $340 in the skins pot with 2 skins out worth $170 each.
