Peter Laws shoots 5-under par for 27 holes

JUPITER, Fla. – Peter Laws of Toronto, Ontario, earned his third victory on the Fuzion-Minor League Golf Tour on Monday with a 27-hole score of five under par 76 at the par-3 Jupiter Dunes Golf Club.

Playing the back, front and back nines in that order, Laws shot 25-27-24 with six birdies and one bogey. His birdies were at Nos. 13, 15, 4, 10, 12 and 16 and he bogeyed the sixth hole.

Laws, 29, earned $500 from the $1,625 purse. His two previous MLGT wins were in 2008.

Mike Adamson finished solo second at 3-under par followed by Ryan Lefevre and Marc Mazza at 2-under par. John Van Wart and Jimmy Lytle tied for fifth place at even par.

Angel Monguzzi made a hole-in-one on his second trip around the back nine on the fifteenth hole. Ironically it is the same hole that Adam Fuchs made a one on back in 2009 during a Minor League Golf Tour Team event.

There was $110 in the Skins Pot with 10 skins out worth $11 each.
