Derrick Bohannon fires a 4-under par 68, wins by 2

Windy conditions make for tough scoring in Wellington

WELLINGTON, Fla. – Derrick Bohannon fired a four under par 68 Wednesday at Binks Forest Golf Club to earn his 15th victory on the Minor League Golf Tour. Bohannon, of Jensen Beach and Shelbyville, Ky., made five birdies and a bogey to win for the first time since back-to-back titles last Aug. 10 and Aug. 11 at Fountains CC and the Links @ Madison Green, respectively.

Four players tied for second at 2-under par 70, Ben Hartman of Palm Beach Gardens, Devin Kay from Potomac, MD Steve LeBrun of West Palm Beach (who was in a playoff Monday) and Rick Price who won the 2008 Nationwide Tour Players Cup and qualified for the 2009 PGA Tour by finishing 12th on the 2008 Nationwide Tour Money List.

There was $290 in the skins pot with three skins out worth $96.67 each
