ROYAL PALM BEACH, Fla. – Billy Houle of Joliette, Quebec, scored his first victory on the Golfslinger.com Tour with a six under par 66 on Tuesday at the Links at Madison Green. Houle played a bogey-free round with three birdies on each nine, at Nos. 2, 7, 8, 14, 15 and 17. He earned $1,000 from the $5,690 purse.

Houle edged Irishman Stephen Grant, who shot 67 with seven birdies but a bogey on each nine. Grant, whose American home is in Palm Beach Gardens, was second among 47 starters, receiving $600.

Frank Dully, Bill Hemstock,David Smith, and yesterday's winner Brian Stuard all shot 68.

This was the Golfslinger’s 20th tournament of the year. The March schedule starts Thursday at the Champions Club at Summerfield in Stuart.

There was $230 in the skins pot with 2 skins out worth $115 each.
