4 shots better than the field, Pierre-Henri Soero captures 11th tour victory

Fernando Figueroa shoots even par 71 for solo second place

PLANTATION, Fla. – Pierre-Henri Soero of Palm Beach Gardens fired a four under par 67 to win by four strokes Monday in a Golfslinger.com Tour event at Jacaranda Golf Club. It was Soero’s 11th career Golfslinger title, his third this month. He earned $1,000 from the $4,248 purse.

Fernando Figueroa of Doral and El Salvador matched par 71on the East course and was second among 32 starters in the Golfslinger’s 37th tournament of the year.

The leading money winner for five consecutive Golfslinger tournaments, including Jacaranda, will receive a $1,000 bonus to be used toward Monday qualifying this summer for the PGA or Nationwide tours. The others: April 17, Links @ Madison Green; April 19, Abacoa GC; April 23-34, Fountains CC; and April 26, Evergreen Club.

There was $150 in the skins pot with 6 skins out worth $25 each.
