Tola, Nicaragua - Michael Buttacavoli from Miami, FL, parred the 10th playoff hole to win the Flor de Caña Open on the PGA Tour Latinoamerica. It was the second longest playoff in PGA Tour history.

Buttacavoli tied Michael Davan at 20-under par 284 for the week. The light from the scoreboard and light on the 18th tee was the only way the playoff was possible as the sun had since set on the record playoff. They matched pars on the first 7 playoff holes, both birdied the 8th, parred the 9th and Buttacavoli won with a par on the 10th playoff hole to Davan's bogey.
