OMAHA, Nebraska - Kristoffer Ventura from Norway locked up his 2019/20 PGA Tour card with his second win on the Korn Ferry Tour at the Pinnacle Bank Championship. His 16-under par total of 268 (67-64-67-70) was good for a two shot win over Andreas Gonzales and Chad Ramey.
Ventura played his college golf at Oklahoma State University. He turned professional in 2018 and earned conditional Korn Ferry Tour status through Q-School in December 2018. He played 7 events on the MLGT during the winter of 2019 to stay sharp while awaiting his chance at Korn Ferry Tour starts. His break came with a sponsors invitation at the BMW Charity Pro-Am where he would finish T3. He then went on to win the Utah Championship on June 30th. Three weeks later he is back in the winners circle and headed to the PGA Tour next year.
Congratulations Kristoffer and good luck on the PGA Tour!
