EUSTIS, Fla. - Nicole Sakamoto from Honolulu, HI shot 73-70-71 for a 2 under par total of 214 and finished as the low professional in the Suncoast Ladies Tour event at Black Bear Golf Club in Eustis, FL. The event took place June 29th-July 1st, 2015. Nicole finished one shot back of Kaeli Jones (a) who shot 73-69-71 for a 3 under par total of 213. Because Kaeli is an amateur Nicole took home the $2,000 first place check. Kaeli recieved a $400 gift certificate.
Nicole has worked part time as an intern for the MLGT since February 2015 while she practices and pursues her dream of playing golf for a living. Nicole is heading to California for first stage of LPGA qualifying school in August. She will compete at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, CA from August 3rd-August 9th. Good luck Nicole!
