SEBRING, Fla. - Jimmy Hervol from Hopkinton, MA birdied the first playoff hole to win the Visit Sebring Classic for the 2nd time in 3 years. Hervol had a one shot lead over Brian Richey with 6 holes to play. Both men bogied the par-3 13th hole. Then Richey birdied the par-4 15th to tie Hervol for the lead. They exchanged pars on the last three holes and headed to extra holes. On the first extra hole Hervol had 12 feet for birdie with Richey just inside him at 8 feet. Hervol made the putt to put the pressure on. Richey's putt to extend the playoff just slid by on the low side.

Hervol earned $10,000 from the $35,375 purse plus $437 from the bonus pool. Richey earned $4,437 for the 2nd place finish.
Cole Castro and Van Holmgren tied for 3rd one shot out of the playoff and earned $2,500 each.

SEBRING, Fla. - Alex Weiss from Pickerington, OH birdied the final two holes to get to 12-under par and take the solo lead into tomorrow's final round. He started the 2nd round tied with 6 other players after an opening round of 66. He hit his first tee shot on Wednesday out of bounds which led to a double bogey but bounced back with 7 birdies and an eagle along with one bogey for a 2nd round 66.
The 36 hole cut fell at 6-under par 138. 24 players made the cut and will fight it out Thursday for the $10k first place check.

SEBRING, Fla. - Conner Godsey, Jace McCarron, Alex Weiss, Ryan Skae, Connor Schmidt, Paul DiFranco III and Roberto Nieves share the opening round lead after matching 6-under par 66's. Sun 'N Lake didn't have any defense against the strong field on day one which saw very little wind all day. 40 of the 58 players broke par during day 1.
The top 40% (24 and ties) will make the 36 hole cut. There are 26 players at -3 and better after day one.
