Tom McKibbin from Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland broke through Sunday by winning the Porsche European Open on the DP World Tour in Hamburg, Germany. His 9-under par total of 283 (72-69-72-70) was good for a 2 shot win.

In January of 2022 Tom was in Florida working on his game and earned his first professional win in 2022 Major I at The Country Club of Coral Springs by firing a final round 62 to come from behind to overtake PGA Tour player Eric Cole by one shot.
