JUPITER, Fla. - Brooks Koepka is now a household name to worldwide golf fans but it is the path he took that younger brother Chase is following. Right out of college Brooks went over to Europe to compete on the Challenge Tour. Brooks won 4 Challenge Tour events in less than 2 years between the summer of 2012 and the end of 2013. By winning 3 Challenge Tour events in 2013 he earned his European Tour card for 2014. He wasted no time and won the Turkish Airlines Open propelling him onto the world stage. He then finished 4th in the 2014 US Open which earned him a PGA Tour card for the 2014-15 season. He then won the Waste Management Phoenix Open in 2015 which helped qualify him for the 2016 Ryder Cup team.

Brooks' younger brother Chase Koepka is trying to follow his brothers footsteps. He finished in a tie for 11th place at 2nd stage of European Tour Q-School with rounds of 68-70-72-68 to advance to the final stage.

In a phone interview after his final round 68 he said, "I'm excited to finally have somewhere to play next year because now I know I at least have Challenge Tour status". The top 25 finishers plus ties at final stage will earn category 15 European Tour membership for the 2017 season and everyone else will earn Challenge Tour status. Chase entered the final round of 2nd stage one shot outside the number so his final round of 68 was very clutch.

Another thing the Koepka brothers have in common is they have both kept their skills sharp by competing on the Minor League Golf Tour. Brooks has played 8 events on the MLGT winning 4 of them including the 2012 Minor League Golf Tour Championship. Chase has also played 8 events on the MLGT and he has won 5 times including the 2016 Web.com Q-School Contest #3.
