JUPITER, Fla. – Chad Bricker of Waynesboro, Pa., returned to the Minor League/Golfslinger Tour Monday and shot a five under par 67 for a win at the Jupiter Country Club. Bricker made seven birdies (Nos. 3, 4, 5, 7, 12, 16 and 17) and a bogey on each nine (6 and 11).

Playing in the 2nd group, Zack Shriver of Marysville, Washington posted a 4-under par 68. He was waiting on the putting green as his remaining on course challengers failed to make up any ground on the last two holes that were playing into a 20+ mph wind.   It seemed as if Shriver was going to be in a playoff or even win the event outright until Brickers birdie-birdie-par finish put him 1 up on Shriver.

It was Bricker’s fourth Minor League/Golfslinger victory. He received $600 from the $2,400 purse, raising his career earnings to $6,194 since February, 2011. Last month he won July 22 at nearby Abacoa GC.

There were 20 starters. Next on the schedule is a Web.com Tour tuneup Thursday on the Rees Jones course at Breakers West CC. First stage qualifying for the 2015 Web.com tour is scheduled Oct. 10-14 at Breakers Rees Jones.
