NORTH PALM BEACH, Fla. – Andy Golden of Davie fired a three under par 68 Thursday at the North Palm Beach Country Club for his third victory on the Golfslinger.com Tour, his second this month.
Golden made five birdies (Nos. 6, 7, 12, 15 and 17) and back-to-back bogeys at 13 and 14. He received $625 from the $2,305 purse, raising his career earnings to $19,430 since December, 2008.
Carl McCauley, who also won twice in May finished solo second with a 1-under par 70.
Golfslinger’s 12th tournament of the month and 57th this year drew 16 starters. Nine events are scheduled in June prior to a two-week summer break starting June 19.
