Jordan Elsen wins 5 hole playoff over Jason Burstyn

PLANTATION, Fla. – Jordan Elsen of Kenosha, Wis., had to play five extra holes Wednesday to claim his first victory as a professional golfer. Elsen birdied the fifth extra to outlast Jason Burstyn of Miami after they tied at five under par 67 on the East course at Jacaranda Golf Club.

Elsen sank a five-foot putt at the par-4 fifth hole. Moments earlier, Burstyn missed his birdie opportunity from 20 feet. Elsen received $525 from the $1,680 purse, raising his career Golfslinger earnings to $3,696.68 since June, 2013. Burstyn, second among 16 starters, collected $400.
