5 Birdies help Will Coleman earn his 5th GOLFslinger/MLGT Title

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. – Will Coleman of Kensington, Md., birdied the first two holes Monday enroute to a four under par 68 on the East course at Indian Spring Country Club for his fifth victory on the Golfslinger.com Tour. Coleman had five birdies and a bogey overall and received $510 from the $1,560 purse, raising his career earnings to $29,648 since November, 2010.

Amateur Zac Goodman of Boca Raton, FL shot a 2-under par 70 to finish solo second, followed by Justin Dorward of Port St. Lucie, FL in third place at 1-under par 71. Five players tied for 4th place at even par.

Zach Toste of Pembroke Pines shot 75 on a birdie and four bogeys to win the training division, staged mostly for up-and-coming amateur golfers. He got a merchandise certificate for $75.

There were 13 starters. Next on the schedule: Thursday, Martin Downs CC, and Monday, Jupiter CC. The following Thursday, (in 10 days) the tour will visit Breakers West for a 1 day event on the course that will be hosting 1st stage of WEB.com Qualifying School in October.
