LAUDERHILL, Fla. - Steve LeBrun of West Palm Beach fired a 2-under par 70 to win his third Minor League Golf Tour event in a row!
LeBrun overcame bogies at 3,4, and 12 with birdies at 2, 6, 10, 11, and 17 to win by one over two players and collected $450 from the $1,400 purse. Anthony Infante and Alejandro Garmendia tied for 2nd with 1-under par 71's and collected $287.50 a piece.
LeBrun has won the last three MLGT events staged starting last week on Monday at Jacaranda Golf Club. The previous two victories came in playoffs. LeBrun now has 41 victories and MLGT career earnings of $120,819.88 since August 2007.
The 50th MLGT event of the year drew 14 starters. Next on the schedule: Thursday May 21 at The Falls Country Club in Lake Worth and May 27-28 at Martin Downs Country Club in Palm City where their will be $625 of Added Money into the purse!
