PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – Drew Page of Asheville, N.C., completed 36 holes without making a bogey Tuesday to win for the first time on the Minor League Golf Tour. He shot 70-67—137 on the Estate course at PGA National to collect $1,600 from the $9,280 purse.
Page, 26, made one birdie the first round Monday, at the par-5 ninth hole, then birdied Nos. 3, 5, 8 and 10 the final round, winning by two strokes over three tied at 139 among 32 starters.
After being warned earlier in the round, Drew Page's group was put on the clock on the 16th tee. Page was able to stay focused with the added presure and finish well to secure the win.
Brandon Smith, Josh Hart, and Greg O'Mahony tied for 2nd with 36 hole totals of 139.
The MLGT plays another 36-hole tournament Wednesday and Thursday at Abacoa GC in Jupiter which will conclude the 4 day long Web.com Q-School contest. The low 4 day score of the players that entered the contest will win a full paid entry into 2016 Web.com Q-School.
At the halfway point in the contest Drew Page leads at -5 over Brandon Smith, Greg O'Mahony and Josh Hart at -3.

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - AJ Morris from Aspen, CO birdied 4 of his final 5 holes in the opening round of the Minor League Golf Tour's Web.com Q-School Contest #2 to card a 3-under par 68. He leads three players by one shot heading into the second round on PGA National's Estates course.
CD Hockersmith from Richmond, IN, Carl McCauley from Parkland, FL, and Brandon Smith from West Palm Beach, FL all opened with rounds of 2-under par 69 on a tough day at PGA National. The combination of firm greens, high winds, and off and on showers proved to make scoring difficult during the opening round.
27 out of the 32 players chose to enter the optional $200 Web.com Q-school contest. Out of those 27 players, the player with the low 4 day total score will win a full paid entry into 2016 Web.com Q-school. The 2nd place finisher in the contest will recieve $400 to go towards their Web.com Q-School entry.
A champion will be crowned tomorrow at PGA National Estates course for the first half of the Q-School contest. Then play moves to near by Abacoa Golf Club for a seperate 2-day event Wednesday and Thursday. A seperate winner will be crowned for that 2-day event and then the player with the low 4-day score will win the full paid entry into 2016 Web.com Q-School.
