BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. – Jimmy Lytle of Ocean Ridge, FL, the career leader in both wins and earnings, added to both columns Monday as the Minor League Golf Tour resumed play after a 17-day summer break.

Lytle posted a three under par 69 on the East course at Indian Spring Country Club with four birdies on the front nine and a lone bogey on the back. It was his 53rd victory since he joined the MLGT in July, 2006, including the first two as an amateur. Lytle turned pro in August, 2008. He collected $450 from the $1,080 purse, raising his career total to $197,951.

There were nine starters for the MLGT's 60th tournament of the year. Next on the schedule: Thursday at Jupiter CC and then Web.com Q-School contest #3 next week. The Q-School contest consists of back to back 2-day events. The first half will be held at PGA National's Estate Course on 7/18-19 and the second half will be held at Plantation Preserve Golf Club 7/20-21. Plantation Preserve is hosting 2nd stage of Web.com Q-School in November. The Minor League Golf Tour is guaranteeing a full paid entry into 2016 Web.com Q-school for the low 4-day score of those players entered in the contest. If more than 25 players participate in the contest, the extra money will go towards the 2nd place finisher's (in the contest) 2016 Web.com Q-school entry. The first 2-day event entry is $390, the 2nd 2-day entry fee is $290, and the Web.com Q-School contest entry fee is $200. Both of the 2-day events will have prize pools.
