PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - Michael Buttacavoli from Miami Beach, FL, wins the Minor League Golf Tour's Web.com Q-school Contest #6 by four strokes over three players. The contest originally scheduled for 9/12-15 was postponed due to Hurricane Irma. It was shortened to a 2-day Q-School Contest on the Champ course at PGA National.
Buttacavoli fires rounds of 67-67 (134) to win the Q-School Contest by 4 shots. He was only one shot ahead with 9 holes to go but birdies at 12, 13 and 14 earned him a 4 shot lead with 4 to play that he would not relinquish.

Zach Zaback, Justin Hicks and Andy Pope all finished in a tie for 2nd in the Q-School contest so they had to playoff for the 2nd place prize. 33 players participated in the $200 Web.com Q-School contest creating a prize pool of $6,600. Because Michael Buttacavoli is exempt into final stage at Q-School, his entry fee will be $3,500. The remainder of $3,100 went towards the 2nd place finishers Q-School entry fee. The three men went to the par-3 17th hole for the playoff and Zach Zaback hit it close and made the 5 foot birdie putt for the win and will get $3,100 to put towards his Q-School entry fee.
