PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – Olin Browne Jr. from Hobe Sound, FL, made four birdies and a bogey on each nine Monday enroute to his sixth victory on the Minor League Golf Tour. At six under par 65 on the Estate course at PGA National, Browne edged Oscar Fraustro of Mexico City by one stroke.
The son of PGA Tour Champions veteran Olin Browne Sr., Olin Jr. received $1,000 from the $6,000 purse and an additional $231 from an optional bonus pool, raising his career earnings to $24,084 in sporadic MLGT starts since July, 2009. He birdied Nos. 1, 3, 4, 6, 13, 15, 16 and 18, and bogeyed the seventh and 12th holes.

The third tournament of the year drew 48 starters. Play was interrupted for an hour and 10 minutes by heavy rain but mother nature cooperated and let the players finish.
