LANTANA, Fla. – Mike Miller of Brewster, NY, switched places with Daniel Obremski of Pittsburgh on Wednesday in Minor League Golf Tour action at Park Ridge Golf Course. Miller birdied the last seven holes to edge Obremski 62-63. On Monday, playing the Oaks course at Palm Aire Country Club in Pompano Beach, it was Obremski beating Miller 65-67 for the win.
Miller did not make a bogey, Obremski only one, at the par-4 third hole on the Palm Beach County-owned course. In addition to his closing streak, Miller birdied Nos. 1, 4 and 10. He earned $900 from the $4,655 purse, an additional $232 in the optional bonus pool and $83.34 in the skins game for a total of $1,215.34. Obremski, second among 36 starters, eagled the par-5 12th hole and birdied 1, 2, 4, 6, 9, 13, 17 and 18. He received $620 from the main purse and $177 in the bonus pool.
