STUART, Fla. – A two-shot swing at the 17th hole proved decisive Monday as Cory Stelick of Groton, NY, earned his first victory on the Minor League Golf Tour. Playing in the first group off the tee at The Florida Club, Stelick edged Jacob Eggers of Boone, NC, 69-70, when he birdied the par-3 17th. A few minutes later, in the second threesome, Eggers three putted for bogey.
Overall, Stelick had five birdies and two bogeys. He collected $510 from the $1,125 purse and $36 from the skins game for a total of $546. Eggers, second among nine starters, earned $310. He has three MLGT victories, all in July, 2017. Both first played on the MLGT in 2013.

The MLGT plays two more 18-hole tournaments this week, Tuesday at the Jupiter Country Club and Wednesday at the CC of Coral Springs.
