JUPITER, Fla. – Jamie Sindelar of Horseheads, NY, made it six wins in his last nine starts on the Minor League Golf Tour with a six under par 66 Tuesday at Abacoa Golf Club. Sindelar had six birdies in an errorless round, receiving $1,000 from the $5,000 purse and an additional $232 from an optional bonus pool. He now has 17 victories and earnings of $77,940 since joining the MLGT in October, 2013.
A stroke back and tied for second at 67 in the 35-player field were Eric Cole of Orlando, FL with five birdies, and Davey Jude of Kermit, W.Va. on six birdies and one bogey.
Four players chose to enter an optional $100 3-day cumulative bonus pool where the scores from all three 1-day events this week count towards the leaderboard. 100% of the entry fee goes into the purse with the top 33% earning a check. Here is how they stand with one event to go.
