BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. – Nick Latimer of Cleveland, OH, scored his 11th victory on the Minor League Golf Tour with a final round of eight under par 63 on the West course at Indian Spring Country Club. At 12 under 130, Latimer won by a stroke Tuesday. In 36 holes, he made 14 birdies and 2 bogeys. Latimer earned $1,600 from the $8,815 purse and an additional $464 from an optional bonus pool for a total of $2,064.
Second at 131 was Justin Hicks of Grosse Ile, MI, with an eagle, 10 birdies and a bogey for 66-65, followed by first round leader Nathan Stamey, Bluffton, SC, 64-68—132 on 11 birdies and a bogey.

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. - Nathan Stamey from Bluffton, SC overcame a lone bogey on the 9th hole with 8 birdies for a 7-under par 64 on day 1 at Indian Spring Country Club. He has three 2nd place finishes on the MLGT but will be trying to earn his first win tomorrow on the west course.
Blake Morris from Waterbury, CT played an error free first round of 66 that included 6 birdies.
