WELLINGTON, Fla. – Gavin Hall of Pittsford, NY, scored his fourth victory on the Minor League Golf Tour – all of them since February – with a six under par 66 Tuesday at Wellington National Golf Club. Hall made seven birdies and a bogey and received $525 from the $1,500 purse, raising his career earnings to $13,034 since he joined the MLGT in September, 2017.
Piri Borja of Coral Springs, FL, who got his eighth MLGT win last Thursday, was second here with 33-34—67 on three birdies on each nine and a bogey at the par-4 18th hole. He collected $610 including $400 from the purse, $150 from a bonus pool and $60 in skins.
MLGT play continues with a 36-hole tournament Wednesday and Thursday at The Florida Club in Stuart.
