PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - Sean Jacklin from Bradenton, FL fired rounds of 72-68 to win 2021 Qualifying School Contest #3 on the Champ course at PGA National.
Jacklin started the final round two shots behind co-leaders Albin Choi and Michael Buttacavoli. Jacklin fired the lowest final round score of 68 which included a birdie on the final hole. He posted even par and then had to wait to see if it would be good enough. Cole also came in at even par behind Jacklin and Choi had a 8 foot birdie putt on the last to join the playoff which would burn the edge. Jacklin and Cole would halve the first playoff hole with pars and Jacklin would get up and down from the front bunker on #2 and watch Cole 3 putt from 35 feet. It was Jacklin's first win in his first MLGT event.

28 of the 50 players chose to enter the optional $200 Qualifying School Contest presented by Joey D Golf. Jacklin earned the $5k bonus to use for his Q-School entry this fall while Cole will get $600 to put towards his Q-School entry fee.
