PALM CITY, Fla. – Josh Hart of Jupiter, FL gained his 16th victory on the Minor League Golf Tour, his second in nine days, with a nine under par 63 Thursday at Hammock Creek Golf Club. Hart made five birdies on the front nine, four more on the back, to win by three shots. He earned $1,025 from the $5,175 purse, $232 from an optional bonus pool and $88.88 in a skins game for a total of $1.345.88. This raised his career MLGT earnings to $77,106.
Second among 40 starters at 66 was Jake Scott of Strongsville, OH, on an eagle, four birdies and a bogey.
Next on the MLGT schedule is a 54-hole tournament next Tuesday through Thursday (Jan. 26-28) on the Estate course at PGA National.
