CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. - Carr Vernon from Poplar Bluff, MO birdied the last three holes to win by one at Country Club of Coral Springs. He earned $1,000 from the $6,875 purse plus an additional $232 from the optional bobus pool for a total of $1,232.
Finishing birdies on holes 7, 8 and 9 after a 10th tee start proved the differnece over his playing partner Hart who finished at 63.
This was Carr's 2nd win on the MLGT. The first came last month at Indian Spring CC where darkness prevented a playoff and he was declared co-champion.
Willy Pumarol from Dominican Republic was alone in 3rd place with 64.
