Jesus Rivas Garcia blows away the field with 65 at Madison Green

Garica and Sunny Kim are tied for the lead in Monday Qualifier Contest #4 entering the final round

ROYAL PALM BEACH, Fla. - Jesus Rivas Garcia from Bogota, Colombia birdied 5 of the last 7 holes to pull away from the field at Madison Green. His 7-under par 65 was good for a 4 shot win and the $800 first place check.

Tied for 2nd were LPGA Tour player AC Tanguay from Quebec, QC and Travis Trace from Jacksonville, FL. They each earned $550 from the $3,650 purse. They also each earned a $56.67 skin and Trace added $214 from the optional bonus pool.

Today was the second of three events that make up Monday Qualifier Contest #4 presented by Abacoa Golf Club. The professional with the lowest cumulative score will win a $1k bonus to compete in a Monday Qualifier on the PGA Tour or Korn Ferry Tour. Here is how we stand with one event to go. The contest will conclude Friday at Fountains CC.
