PLANTATION, Fla. - Scott Vincent from Harare, Zimbabwe fired 67-66 (133) to win in his first start on the MLGT. His 9-under par total was good for a 1 shot win over Austin Crowder on the East course at Jacaranda Golf Club.

Vincent earned $1,600 from the $7,675 purse. Crowder $1,200 plus $182 in skins for a total of $1,382.

MLGT leader in career money and wins Sunny Kim tied for 3rd with Jorge Garcia at 6-under par 136.

Day 1 saw multiple lengthy weather delays but the weather finally cooperated so round one could be completed. The players will have a quick turn a round before tomorrow's early final round start.
