Jordan Gumberg of Fort Lauderdale, FL wins 2022 Monday Qualifier Contest #8 presented by Abacoa Golf Club with a 3-event cumulative score of 201 (70-66-65). The contest consisted of the three 1-day events played this week at Fountains CC, Atlantic National GC and Sandhill Crane GC.
Gumberg started the final round 5 behind Timmy Wideman but a bogey free final round 65 vaulted him to the top of the leaderboard. Wideman struggled to a final round 72 and Gumberg ended up two clear of the field for the 54 hole contest.
Gumberg wins a $1,000 bonus for his fine play this week to go compete in a Monday Qualifier on the PGA Tour or Korn Ferry Tour.
