Jorge Villar outlasts Jorge Garcia on the first playoff hole at Eagle Trace GC
Both men tied at 4-under par 68

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. - Jorge Villar from Mexico parred the first playoff hole Tuesday to win for the first time since joining the MLGT in September 2021. He and Jorge Garcia tied in regulation at 4-under par 68 at Eagle Trace Golf Club.

Both men had lengthy biride putts on the first extra hole. Garcia left his 5 feet short, Villar had 3 feet remaining for par. Garcia missed and Villar made his par putt for the win.

Villar earned $1,075 for the win plus $233 from the bonus pool for a total of $1,308.

Landon Michelson, Domenico Geminiani and Larry Blatt tied for 3rd at 3-under par 69.
