MIAMI, Fla. - Ryan Linton from Lake Forest, IL birdied the 2nd playoff hole to earn his 6th win on the MLGT. This was the first time winning in a playoff however. It was worth $1,128, $900 from the $4,260 purse plus $228 from the bonus pool.

Linton, Brendan Hunter and Brian Carlson tied in regulation at 3-under par 68 on the challenging par 71 layout at Melreese Country Club. Hunter and Carlson earned $570 each for tying for 2nd.

Today's event was the first of three 1-day events this week that make up 2022 Monday Qualifying School Contest #1 presented by Abacoa Golf Club. The professional with the lowest 3-day cumulative score will earn a $1k bonus to compete in a Monday Qualifier on the PGA Tour or Korn Ferry Tour.
