PALM CITY, Fla. - Olin Browne Jr. from Hobe Sound, FL birdied the 3rd playoff hole to outlast Mariano Medico after the two men tied at 5-under par 137 in regulation.
Browne Jr. earned $1,664 including bonus pool money while Mariano took home $932.
This was Browne's 18th win on the MLGT. Medico is still looking for his first.
In a second day shootout Tuesday among players who scored 73 or higher Wednesday, Patrick Allgeier won $100 with a final round score of 68.
PALM CITY, Fla. - Mariano Medico from Shavertown, PA leads the way after day one at Hammock Creek Golf Club with a 5-under par 66. He overcame his lone bogey on #12 with 6 birdies including the last 2 holes.
Olin Browne Jr. is the only other player under 70 and will begin the final round 3 behind Medico.
