Pattrick Allgeier birdies the first playoff hole to outlast Timmy Wideman at Fountains CC

Both men tied in regulation at 3-under par 68 on the West course

LAKE WORTH, Fla. - Patrick Allgeier from Fort Wayne, IN birdied the first extra hole to earn his third win on the MLGT. He and Timmy Wideman tied at 3-under par 68 on the West course at Fountains Country Club.

On the first playoff hole Wideman missed his birdie bid from 25 feet. Allgeier was on the fringe about 18 feet away and rolled it right in the middle for the win. He earned $650 from the $2,205 purse.

Wideman has been playing some very solid golf but is still looking for his first win.

There are three events left before the annual Summer Break. Monday at Jacaranda GC, Tuesday at Florida Club and Wednesday the Summer Team Championship will take place at Indian Spring CC.
