WELLINGTON, Fla. - Ricardo Celia from Miami, FL birdied the tough 18th hole for 64 and a one shot win at Wellington National Golf Club. He did not make a bogey and added birdies at 2,3,4,9,12,14 and 16. His 4th win on the MLGT was worth $1,482 ($1,250 from the $8,670 purse plus $232 from the optional bonus pool).
Carr Vernon from Poplar Bluff, MO and Angus Flanagan from Woking, England tied for 2nd at 65. They arrived at 65 differnet ways however. Vernon was leading the event at -9 on 17 tee but his tee shot was out of bounds by 10" which led to a double bogey. Flanagan birdied the final two holes to get to the 7-under mark.
