STUART, Fla. - Jimmy Hervol from Hopkinton, MA remains hot adding 68 to his opening round 63 for a 11-under par total and a two shot win at The Florida Club. His 7th win on the MLGT was worth $2630.67 which includes bonus pool and skin money.
Two weeks ago Hervol won the Visit Sebring Classic and the $10k first place check. Then last week he was medalist at first stage of PGA Tour Q-School at The Falls Club in Lake Worth. Keep up the great play heading into second stage of Q-School Jimmy!
Mickey DeMorat was 2nd alone at 133 followed by Olin Browne Jr. in 3rd at 134.
In a second day shootout Thursday among players who shot 75 or higher Wednesday, Tyler Stachkunas won $183 with a final round score of 69.

In round one here at Florida Club, Hervol did not make a bogey and had birdies at 5,7,8,10,11,14,16 and 18. He leads the field by two shots heading into Thursday's final round.
Mickey DeMorat had it going in round one at 8-under par through 11 holes but a couple late bogies dropped him back to 2nd place with an opening round 65.
