PLANTATION, Fla. - Jorge Villar from Mexico nearly tied the course record in a come from behind win on the East course at Jacaranda Golf Club. Villar started the final round in a tied for 10th four shots behind the first round lead. His bogey free final round included birdies at 1,3,5,9,11,14 and 17. His final round of 64 was one off the course record held by PGA Tour member Eric Cole from a MLGT event on January 2, 2023.

Villar's 36 hole total of 134 was one shot better than Carson Klawonn. Villar earned $2,784 which includes bonus pool and skin money, Klawonn earned $1,500.

In a second day shootout Tuesday among players who shot 72 or higher Monday, Michael Sweeney won $150 with a final round score of 67.

PLANTATION, Fla. - Angus Flanagan from Woking, England turned in 1-over par then proceeded to birdie 10, eagle 11 and then birdie 14, 17 and 18 to come home in 30 for a 5-under par 66 on the East course at Jacaranda GC.

Donald Stimble, Justin Griffith, Daniel Obremski, Carson Klawonn, Aaron Wilson and Erik MacDonald are tied for 2nd after opening rounds of 3-under par 68.
