BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. - Dylan Meyer from Evansville, IN birdied the last hole for 62 and a one shot win over Trevor Sluman and Jorge Villar. Meyer overcame his lone bogey on #8 with birdies at 1,4,7,9,10,12,13,16 and 18 on the West course at Indian Spring CC to earn his 6th win on the MLGT. He earned $1,282 from the $5,410 purse which included $210 from the bonus pool and a $72 skin.
Sluman and Villar earned $600 each. Villar added $170 from the BP and a $72 skin for a total of $842. Villar was the first group out and set the clubhouse lead at 63. Sluman was even par standing on the 12th tee and proceeded to play the last seven holes seven under par!
Today's event was the second of three this week that make up 2023 Monday Qualifier Contest #6 presented by Abacoa Golf Club. The player with the lowest cumulative score for the three events wins a $1k bonus to go compete in a Monday Qualifier on the PGA Tour or Korn Ferry Tour.
