PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - Brett Stegmaier started the final round tied with three other players after a first round 67. He came out firing playing the first four holes 4-under par and never looked back. His 8-under par total of 132 (67-65) was four clear of the field. He earned $3,000 from the $25,555 purse plus $466 from the bonus pool. He also won Qualifying School Contest #3 presented by Britto & Herman Injury Lawyers and the $5k bonus to pay for his Q-School entry fee.
Nick Cummings was 2nd at 136 and earned $3,356, $2,000 from the regular purse, $406 from the bonus pool and $950 in skins.
Angelo Giantsopoulos and Bennett Cotten tied for 3rd at 137.
In a second day shootout Thursday among players who shot 75 or higher Wednesday, Nicklas Staub won $225 with a final round score of 69.
