ATLANTIS, Fla. - Garrett Barber went wire to wire to win by seven at Atlantis Country Club. He added a final round 66 to his opening round 64 and blew the field away. He did not make a bogey in 36 holes. He earned $1,700 from the $7,950 purse for his 3rd win on the MLGT.
Brett Beazant and Jace McCarron tied for 2nd at 137 and earned $1,225 each.
In a second day shootout Tuesday among players who shot 72 or higher Monday, Ethan Marcus won $150 with a final round score of 68.
ATLANTIS, Fla. - Garrett Barber from Stuart, FL made eight birdies and no bogies en route to 64 and a three shot lead over the field after day one at Atlantis CC. Pete Kellermann was also bogey free and his 5-under par 67 finds him in solo second and a spot in the final pairing. Amateur Dominic Carrera will round out the final group. He carded a 3-under par 69 in round one.
