LAKE WORTH, Fla. - Jimmy Hervol from Hopkinton, MA made four birdies in a row from holes 9-12 during the final round which would prove to be important. When the leaders were on 13 tee box play was suspended for lightning. A small cell turned into a big cell that sat on top of the course. After a nearly two hour delay the course became unplayable due to flooding.

MLGT policy states that once the field completes half of the scheduled starting holes, 18 of 36 in this case, the event is official and all holes that every player complete will count). So with the final group completing 12 holes during the final round the event became a 30 hole event.

Hervol was 14-under par through 30 holes which was two better than Dawson Jones. He earned $1,700 for the win, Jones $1,300 for second place. Raoul Menard and Bo Hoag tied for 3rd at 11-under par.
