Nicklas Staub of Boynton Beach, FL wins 2025 Monday Qualifier Contest #6 presented by Abacoa Golf Club with a 3-day cumulative score of 198 (70-63-65). The contest consisted of the three one day events played this week at Monarch CC, Abacoa GC and Indian Spring CC.
Staub entered the final day one shot behind leader Matthew Soucinek. Soucinek had a two shot lead with three holes to play but birdies from Staub on 16 and 17 tied things up. Both men birdied the par-5 finishing hole and headed to extra holes. They exchanged pars on the first playoff hole. On the second Staub rolled in his birdie putt from 15 feet then Soucinek answered with a birdie of his own from 14 feet. On the 3rd playoff hole both men hit quality 2nd shots on the par-4. Soucinek barely missed his birdie look from 10 feet then Staub rolled his in from 9 feet for the win.
Staub wins a $1,000 bonus for his fine play this week to go compete in a Monday Qualifier on the PGA Tour or Korn Ferry Tour.
