In regulation Tenuta, Raoul Menard and David Perkins tied at 5-under par 62 on the Match course at PGA National.
Nicholas earned $1,300 from the $7,995 purse plus $203 from the bonus pool for a total of $1,503. Menard and Perkins earned $903 each.
Congratulations to Mark Goetz on making a hole in one on the 135 yard par-3 13th.
Charles Chon was in contention late in the back nine when a bogey at the last spoiled his chance to win. He signed his card at scoring and left the event. A couple hours after the event he realized he signed for a birdie on the 14th when he actually made par. He got that hole confused with another and didn't catch the mistake at scoring. Unfortunately for Chon signing for a lower score resulted in a disqualification. Chon contacted Tournament Director Scott Turner immediately when he realized his mistake and accepted the consequence with class.
