LAKE WORTH, Fla. - Olin Browne Jr. from Hobe Sound, FL birdied the 3rd playoff hole to win for the 23rd time on the MLGT. In regulation Olin, Jimmy Hervol and Chris Francoeur tied at 5-under par 66 on the West course at Fountains CC. They all made par on the first extra hole. Browne Jr. and Hervol made par on the 2nd while Francoeur was eliminated with a bogey. On the third Hervol missed his birdie bid from 20 feet and Olin made his from four feet for the win.
Olin earned $1,400 from the $10,348 purse plus $200 from the bonus pool for a total of $1,600. Francoeur and Hervol earned $950, Hervol added a $160 skin for a total of $1,110.
Today's event was the first of three this week that make up 2025 Monday Qualifier Contest #1 presented by Abacoa Golf Club.
